I purchased this battery for my Canon 5 D Mark2. This OEM battery works perfect with my camera and it reconizes the voltage and type of battery.I would recommend using this battery
with Canon camera’s. This unit holds the charge for a long time. There are other batteries that will fit our specific camera’s but they are not as good as the original. Be aware the voltage

So after buying this battery from Vortex Cable and having to return it because it did not work with my new DMC-ZS7 (as several other ZS7 owners have recently had to do), I ordered one from Good-As-New Electronics (after they assured me they carry only Panasonic batteries). Why waste your money on an outdated program? It doesn’t work the same as the last version either and is a bit frustrating because of that. You used to be able to hit “Save” and it simply saved it on your desktop. You can still get it to do that but it takes a bit more work to do. If you are already running it in a desktop icon and you hit “save” it will save it again but it has to go to another icon location rather than that which you have been using. It may be that it doesn’t work as smoothly with Windows 7 as it did with XP but in any case, just wait for 2010 to come out and deal with the inevitable frustrations of all new programs then rather than now and again later when you decide to update to 2010.
